The SKL Dayto Ceramic White is a Seiko Mod chronograph that modernizes the panda. The white dial with black subdials remains, but the tachymeter bezel is now made of black ceramic. This scratch-resistant material retains its lacquer-like polish for life. This is precisely the evolution that the reference racing chrono has undergone over the last twenty years, and it completely changes its appearance on the wrist. More contrast, more depth, more modernity. The myth, updated.

The ceramic bezel panda

The black ceramic of the bezel has a mirror polish that aluminum never achieves. And its engraved tachymeter scale remains sharp for life. Below, the white dial and its three black-rimmed subdials play the classic score. Luminous hands, 41mm 316L stainless steel case for 13mm, sapphire crystal, engraved solid case back, three-row oyster bracelet. The white, deep black, and steel combination is surgically sharp. The black of the ceramic is deeper than that of the printed subdials. The dial has two blacks, and the eye distinguishes them. It is this kind of nuance that separates generations of chronos.
