SKL Dayto Panda

The SKL Dayto Panda is a Seiko Mod chronograph watch with the design that defined the genre. White dial, three black subdials, dark tachymeter bezel. The panda was born on 60s racetracks to be read at full speed. And it has become the most highly rated chronograph aesthetic. Its most famous example set an absolute record at watch auctions. The defining design

The white dial provides a blank canvas, and the three black subdials are positioned in a perfect, sharply circled triangle. The seconds hand sweeps across the white like a timekeeper's line, framed by the tachymeter bezel. Luminous hands, 41 mm x 13 mm 316L steel case, sapphire crystal, engraved solid case back, three-row oyster bracelet. This is absolute legibility elevated to a style: nothing to remove, nothing to add, everything to time. The Seiko VK63 meca-quartz movement

This Seiko Mod runs on a genuine Seiko Instruments VK63. Meca-quartz chronograph, quartz for timekeeping, mechanical module for the chronograph, instant reset with a click. Just like on the racing chronos that inspired the dial. The battery provides several years of operation.
