SKL Green Arabic Dial

The SKL Green Arabic Dial is a Seiko Mod watch with an Arabic dial. Its color doesn't stay still. The emerald green, bright in the center, darkens in a gradient towards the rehaut, almost black: the dial seems lit from within. Green has been the rising color in watchmaking for several years. An emerald green gradient dial

The gradient starts with a vibrant green in the center and fades towards the edges, visually deepening the dial. The applied Indo-Arabic numerals catch the light, and the date is displayed at three o'clock. 316L steel case in 36 or 39 mm, sapphire crystal, fluted bezel, transparent case back: the construction follows the collection. The gradient has an advantage that plain dials don't. It adds depth to the photo as well as to the wrist. The polished hands seem to float above the green.

The Seiko NH35 caliber under the dial

This Seiko Mod features a genuine NH35 caliber from Seiko Instruments, made in Japan. Automatic, 24 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour, 41 hours of power reserve. It can be wound by wearing or by the crown, and the second hand stops when setting the time. Accuracy of -20 to +40 seconds per day, the standard for this caliber.
